Impact Crusher
Cubical Shape, High Reduction
The secondary crusher that turns soft-to-medium rock and recycled concrete into clean, cubical aggregate. SUNREX offers PF series and PFW hydraulic series impact crushers covering 50β300 t/h β in both stationary and mobile configurations.
PF Series & PFW Series β Choose by Application
Both series use high-speed rotor impact to produce cubical output. The right choice depends on your material, throughput target, and whether you need hydraulic maintenance features.
Traditional Impact Crusher
Proven platform for limestone, river pebble, and soft-to-medium rock. Mechanical apron adjustment, simple rotor assembly, and competitive cost make it the first choice for aggregate lines focused on shape quality.
Hydraulic Impact Crusher
Upgraded platform with hydraulic top-opening frame, hydraulic apron gap adjustment, and heavier rotor assembly. Designed for construction waste recycling, higher throughput, and applications where fast maintenance access reduces downtime.
Impact Crushing β How the Machine Works
SUNREX impact crushers use high-speed rotor hammers to strike material against breaker plates. The result is excellent particle shape with high reduction in a single pass β ideal when cubic output is a priority.
Traditional Impact β Simple, Reliable, Cost-Effective
Chinese-standard platform with thousands of units in aggregate production. Straightforward mechanical design keeps initial investment and maintenance cost low β the go-to choice for limestone quarries and soft-rock operations.
High-Speed Rotor with Hammers
Heavy-duty rotor spinning at 500β700 RPM. Hammers strike incoming material against adjustable impact plates β producing excellent cubicity in limestone, dolomite, and river pebble.
Reversible Chromium Hammers
High-chromium alloy hammers for good wear resistance on soft-to-medium rock. Reversible design β flip at 50% wear to use both working edges before replacement.
Adjustable Impact Plates
Three-curtain impact plate design β primary, secondary, and tertiary. Mechanical adjustment changes the gap between rotor and plates to control output size and reduction ratio.
Simple Maintenance Access
Side-opening inspection doors for hammer inspection and replacement. No hydraulics needed β straightforward bolt-on replacement for plants with regular maintenance crews.
Hydraulic Impact β Built for Recycling and High Throughput
Upgraded platform with hydraulic frame opening, hydraulic apron gap adjustment, and heavier rotor assembly. Designed for construction waste recycling where tramp iron is common, and for high-tonnage limestone operations where downtime must be minimized.
Hydraulic Top-Opening Frame
Hydraulic cylinders open the crusher frame from the top β exposing the rotor, hammers, and impact plates for fast replacement. Reduces hammer change time from hours to under 30 minutes.
Hydraulic Apron Gap Adjustment
Adjust the gap between impact plates and rotor hydraulically β no manual shims, no shutdown required. Change discharge size on the fly to match shifting output requirements.
Heavy Rotor & Premium Hammers
Heavier, larger-diameter rotor stores more energy per revolution β driving better throughput and handling larger feed. Premium high-chromium hammers with multiple wear positions for extended service life.
Stationary or Mobile Integration
Same PFW models used in both fixed-plant installations and SUNREX SNF mobile impact crusher plants. Switch between stationary and mobile configurations without changing crusher specifications.
Overload Protection
Hydraulic relief system protects the rotor and frame from damage when tramp iron or uncrushable material enters the chamber. Critical for construction waste and demolition feed.
Impact Crushers in the Workshop and on Site
Standard Models β PF Series & PFW Series
Listed capacities use limestone as a reference condition. Softer material may run higher; harder rock will run lower. Actual production depends on feed hardness, moisture, and gradation.
Secondary Crushing Across Project Types
Impact crushers excel when the target is cubical shape and the material is soft enough to avoid excessive wear on hammers and liners.
